An Online Reading Diary
As our school is a bilingual school we decided to publish this article in English only. I am a pupil from the 11th form English course of this school who wants to tell you something about our reading log on the book ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time’ by Mark Haddon. Together with our English teacher Ms. Böttger – trainee teacher in her second year – we created our own blog.
‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time’ is the ‘Whitebread Book of the Year 2003’ and tells a really strange story from the viewpoint of an autistic person. Christopher Boone (15) is a real genius who knows the capital city of every country in the world and every prime number up to 7,057 – you can see he is not a usual teenager like us. That is the reason why we analyze his characteristics and write about our new experiences in our blog.
